To give you more context of what I'm working with the 'Date' field on the left is named 'Today' and the 'Date Required' field on the right is named 'Date'. I have tried several different things, the image of those attempts are also attached. I have also attached an image of the basic function command it pops up with in javascript editor. The above suggestions have not worked..Also, now the dates are 'stuck' in there even when I try to delete out the script (maybe i'm not deleting it from the correct place?)...
