Well it's never been a perfect world.
However, on a brighter note, the same roadmap document shows that Adobe intends to add "blow" gestures to Captivate 9 next year. As everyone knows, this is a new way of controlling content on a mobile device (only the best devices currently support it) whereby you can simply 'blow' on the screen to move from one slide to the next. No need to touch or swipe! I'm foreseeing lots of clever learning interactions we could create with such an enhancement.
There's also a tantalizing hint in the document that a clever programmer in Bangalore has worked out a way to integrate a SCORM module with Google Glasses worn by an instructor and that Adobe is currently in negotiations to commercialise this. Think about the possibilities. People could be taught over the internet day or night by instructors on the other side of the world wearing glasses!
